Dr. Edward “Eddie” Lorents is the visionary behind Dental Arts Center. His passion to use his talent in dentistry & aesthetics to enhance the quality of life of people and communities has shaped Dental Arts Center into a practice that attracts patients and fellow dentists from all over Oklahoma, the United States, and abroad.

Dr. Lorents graduated with high honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2012, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He subsequently embarked on a diverse career blending dentistry, aesthetics, and academia.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
During his time at the OU College of Dentistry, he served part-time as faculty, specializing in removable and fixed prosthodontics. He further honed his skills through post-doctorate courses, focusing on Implantology, Implant Prosthodontics, Advanced Bone Grafting, Orthodontics, Clear Aligners, and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. Having over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Lorents has placed and restored thousands of implants, drawing on his expertise in dental anatomy and 3D CBCT treatment planning. He also co-founded the Wehrle Immersion Implant Course, sharing beginner and advanced implant planning and surgical techniques with fellow dental professionals.
In addition to Dental Arts Center, Dr. Lorents also founded Sculpted Med Spas, a premier destination specializing in facial aesthetics, skincare, body care, and wellness. Dr. Lorents' deep understanding of dental and facial anatomy enables him to provide and oversee Tox & Filler Injections with expert precision and impeccable results.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Lorents enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Ashley and their two children, Elliott and Ella. He is also actively engaged in various good causes within the community and regularly indulges in his passion for playing hockey. Dr. Lorents also plays an integral role in supporting the local hockey scene by ensuring athletes maintain healthy smiles. Furthermore, Dr. Lorents remains dedicated to dental education, serving as a lecturer and instructor for various professional organizations.

What’s your favorite local restaurant?
In Oklahoma City, we’re spoiled with so many awesome restaurants. I like so many of them but am particularly fond of concepts by Chef Black. Stock & Bond is another favorite!
What’s your idea of the perfect day out?
My perfect day involves traveling to a beach. Lounging around in the sun with my wife and making some sand castles with the kids!
What’s your favorite sport and sport team?
My favorite sport to play is definitely hockey. As an Oklahoma native, my favorite local team to support is the Thunder. They’re amazing!
What do you do to relax?
What’s that? Just kidding! To relax, I like to have a nice cocktail and hang out with my family. We love trying new places and experiences around OKC.
