All About

Invisalign

Invisalign clear aligners are made from polyurethane plastic and are customized to fit every person's individual mouth. This revolutionary device is perfect for patients who have crooked teeth or a crowded mouth. Invisalign is very effective at resolving these issues and completely eliminates the need for having metal braces!

Invisalign Gently & Slowly Moves Teeth Into Place

Comfortable Solution

Invisalign is loved by patients as these clear, nearly invisible aligners can create a perfectly clean and straight smile without all of the pain and inconveniences of metal braces. Invisalign is much more comfortable than traditional braces, and since aligners are removed to eat, patients are not required to modify their diet when using Invisalign!

Effective Treatment

Invisalign orthodontic treatments are highly-effective for resolving numerous oral issues and imperfections. The most common of these include crooked teeth, an overcrowded mouth, and gaps between teeth. Misaligned bites, including overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites, can also be corrected with Invisalign. If Invisalign orthodontic treatment sounds like a good fit for your needs and cosmetic goals, please reach out to us to further discuss. We're happy to answer any questions and guide you on the path to getting the smile you've always wanted!

Invisalign treatment process

How Does Invisalign Work?

If your candidacy for Invisalign is confirmed during an initial in-office consultation, we'll get started on having your x-rays and impressions taken! The next step is sending these off to Invisalign, so that they can create your custom series of aligners or trays. Once we receive these back from Invisalign, we'll contact you to come in to be fitted for your first set. At this point, we will begin the process of correcting your smile based on your needs and cosmetic goals. If you're ready to know if you're a candidate for Invisalign, reach out to us today to schedule an initial consult. We'll get you the answers you need in no time!

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend that patients wear the first set of Invisalign aligners for about 2 weeks, for 22 hours each day. Approximately every 6 weeks, you'll come back to see us for another appointment. Our dentists will make sure the process is on track and that teeth are slowly moving into the desired positions. We will continue this process with you until you have reached your cosmetic goal! Depending on your starting point, the Invisalign treatment process can last anywhere from 3 to 18 months.
