All About
Appointment Day
Our patients love coming in for routine cleanings & exam, as they leave our office with a mouth that feels healthy and completely refreshed! To start out this invigorating process, a thorough, in-depth cleaning is performed by one of our experienced dental hygienists. They take their time to gently and meticulously remove buildup and harmful plaque from your gumline and other “hard to reach” areas throughout your mouth. Then, the fun part begins as your hygienist skillfully flosses and polishes each tooth.
Our thorough cleanings leave your mouth refreshed & teeth radiant!
After an amazing cleaning, you’ll meet with your dentist. They’ll go over your x-rays and thoroughly examine each tooth in your mouth. They’ll be looking for cavities and any less obvious signs of trouble that may be forming. The goal is always effective treatment & prevention!
If appropriate, we will also offer you a fluoride treatment. Fluoride is a natural tooth-cleaner and strengthener that is sometimes found in water. However, some sources of water do not contain any fluoride and other sources may contain a very small amount and/or may not be properly absorbed by your teeth. A quick & efficient in-office fluoride rinse can strengthen weakened teeth and help counter against enamel erosion that is caused by certain foods & drinks.
Request AppointmentWe Use Low-Dose Digital X-Rays
Since quality care, prevention, and safety are all very important to us, we invested into the best technology to provide our patients with low-dose digital x-rays. These x-rays make imaging more efficient while making radiation exposure truly minimal! Using digital low-dose x-rays, we are able to gain in-depth insight into all oral health issues – including those that may not be visible to the naked eye. Collecting the scans digitally also enables us to manipulate the images on our computer, which allows us to see details in your mouth from every possible angle!
Schedule TodayHow Often Should I Schedule Routine Dental Care?
For most patients, a dental exam & cleaning once every 6 months will work wonders at preventing costly problems and keeping oral health intact. However, patients that struggle with dental issues such as periodontal disease will likely need to be seen more often. Your dentist will confirm how often visits should be scheduled!
“I really enjoy seeing patients come into the office for routine dental care, as I know that these simple appointments are essential for preventing very painful and costly issues.”
Eddie Lorents, DDS

How Do You Care For Patients With Dental Anxiety?
As compassionate, people-friendly providers, we start by caring for those with anxiety by understanding their fears and having empathy. Then, we work with the patient to develop a plan for keeping them comfortable and pain-free throughout any needed dental care or treatments. Most of our patients with dental anxiety will opt to use the Sedation Dentistry that we offer. This works wonders for many patients – especially those with dental anxiety!
What is Sedation Dentistry?
Sedation Dentistry allows the patient to undergo any type of dental procedure without seeing, hearing, or feeling what is happening inside their mouth. At higher levels of sedation, the patient can even leave the office with no memory whatsoever of the procedure. We work closely with the patient to determine the level of sedation most appropriate for their specific needs.
