The placement of porcelain veneers starts by our dentist taking a close look at the tooth or teeth to be corrected. This is accomplished by acquiring a digital image of your mouth. It's at this point that they will determine if a very small layer of enamel will need to be removed so that the veneer can be better adhered to the tooth or teeth being treated. After this decision is made, we will then take impressions and work with our lab to custom-build your veneers. We'll call you to come back in for your second visit once the veneers are shaped and made. You can rest assured knowing that the size, fit, shape and color will be customized to your specifications. During the veneer procedure, we will place a powerful adhesive on the tooth and set the veneer just on top of it, until perfectly adhered. Then, the veneer is quickly bonded using laser light.
